Job description

• Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.

• Implement responsive web design to ensure optimal performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance website functionality.

• Optimize website performance through clean coding practices, caching techniques, and efficient database management.

• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth user experiences.

• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

• Stay up to date with WordPress core updates, security standards, and industry best practices.

Quality & knowledge requirements

• At least 2+ years working experience in Wordpress

• Motivated, honest, and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.

• Proven experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, with a strong portfolio of live websites.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as Bootstrap, SCSS/SASS, React, or Angular is an added advantage.

• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, with solid knowledge of SQL queries.

• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git or GitHub.

• Ability to implement SEO best practices and optimize websites for search engines.

Educational requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related subject from any reputed university.
